Day 3
Participants took part in a linguistic workshop: some French words were taught to them. Afterwards, they split up into groups to answer the following questions: “what are the prejudices and stereotypes that make young people with fewer opportunities be excluded and that prevent their professional and social inclusion?” Their objective was to present some of them in a creative, artistic way. Some of them created a drawing in which they put society in the middle, disconnected from the social, psychological, and educational problems around it. Others chose to present them in a theatrical way (short plays) in order to stress discriminations according to your social class (rich family vs. poor family, their children at university and then, in the office of a manager), religion, and gender; discriminations against foreigners/immigrants; discriminations against lazy children (if parents are lazy, their children will act the same way) and disabled people.
The participants then exchanged on good artistic practices and employability of young people with fewer opportunities: during 30 minutes session, one participant from France, Moldova, and Azerbaijan and then from Ukraine, Sweden and Turkey presented to a group of 10 people these practices.

In the afternoon, both organizers and participants defined three concepts through a discussion: aptitude, attitude, and knowledge. The latter worked in sub-groups about the following question: what aptitude, attitude, and knowledge should I have for organizing an intercultural youth project? To present it, they showed a short play about knowledge, a TV show of attitude, and a series of mimes of the attitudes we all should have.
In the afternoon, after the energizer, participants took part in a group activity. The concept was simple: 4 people who had already worked with young artists gave advice to other participants about methods to use, etc. in order to foster their skills, their employability. The workshop was divided into two parts: 20 minutes in one group and 20 minutes in another; this way, participants had the chance to learn more about different ways of working with young artists.
During the reflexion group, a daily learning diary was given to participants to write their thoughts day by day about what they have learned, what they liked or not. And only positive feedbacks so far!
The organizations’ fair was the activity of the evening. One participant of every country became a man-sandwich for the night (information were written on flipcharts that the participants wore on them). This method gave everyone the opportunity to learn more about other organisations: their name, objectives, target groups, current and future projects, principal topics, and their contact (website, phone number).
(site internet).
